Plaques and Jengles

Number of players:
2-6

Objective:
Organize and learn new facets of neurological diseases in a competitive game.

Materials needed:
Tower Block Game
Jengle Stickers
Setup:
-
Print and cut out Jengle Stickers, and affix to the small edges of the blocks. This will work best with sticker paper, but can also be done with regular paper and glue. (Alternatively, if you have large blocks, you may be able to write the diseases with a fine-tipped permanent marker).
-
Build the tower by placing random layers of 3 wooden blocks at right angles to each other – creating a solid, 18 story tower.
-
Shuffle the deck of Prompt cards.
Gameplay:
-
Each player draws a Prompt Card, reads it aloud and draws a block that fits the category from the card.
-
Other players have to agree that the disease fits in the category.
-
If no one knows whether a disease fits (or if there is dispute) you can look it up!
-
Blocks are added to the top of the tower after they are removed
-
The last player to remove a block without causing the tower to fall wins.
